Derail or Prevail in Crisis?
We hope you are well and stay that way!
It has been two weeks since we formally switched to work-from-home status. The CGPR team has been rapidly adjusting – Zoom meetings, conference calls and what not – but we miss our time together and being face-to-face with our clients. We look forward to whenever the new normal lets us be a little more normal.
In the meantime, while this crisis is extraordinary on so many levels, the principles of good communication are proving to be pretty fundamental — with authenticity, speed, and compassion prevailing in the early weeks of this crisis. We shared initial thoughts on our blog last week, and know each week will bring new opportunities to innovate and adjust.
Each of you, our clients and friends, are facing radically different challenges – some on the front lines of primary care and treating patients, others finding the right tone to continue marketing their products amidst market upheaval. Yet each has an important reason for being, and ultimately each must prevail through the crisis and be successful after it passes.
While the urge to hunker down, stay quiet and wait it out might be strong, we believe that organizations intending to survive “after” need to play a role now in defining their market position going forward. This certainly does not mean being selfish, overly commercial or exploitative. Rather, take this time to adjust and prepare for the communications challenges and opportunities ahead.
We are here for you – always ready to jump on a Zoom call, collaborate, brainstorm and enthusiastically prepare for what’s next.
Thank you for your partnership. Take care.
