CGPR Summer ’17 News
Exciting times are ahead for CGPR! We have recently grown by two team members and also hope for your support in the Small Business Monthly poll of best companies. First, we are thrilled to welcome Stephanie Zeilenga and Colleen Barry to the Common Ground team…
Meet Stephanie
Stephanie is a seasoned editor and writer, with extensive experience in both journalism and communications. Stephanie’s career includes serving as a branding and insights specialist at FleishmanHillard in St. Louis; an editor for content marketing firm Influence & Co.; and as associate and managing editor of Town & Style, a St. Louis lifestyle magazine. Stephanie earned a master’s degree in journalism from the University of Missouri, where she also earned a Bachelor of Journalism with an emphasis in magazine editing and a Bachelor of Humanities.
Q: What’s your guiltiest pleasure?
A: Tie between wine and any baked good that comes out of my mom’s kitchen – she makes a mean layered chocolate cake!
Q: Name three things left on your bucket list.
A: Embark on a year-long extended adventure, enroll in a college-level creative writing course and learn a foreign language.
Meet Colleen
Colleen returns to CGPR as an account executive and digital strategist after interning with us in 2014. Most recently, she served in a corporate marketing and business development role for a general contractor and construction management company, where she helped acquire new business, managed the client proposal process, planned events, created communication materials and managed social media. She also interned at FleishmanHillard in St. Louis and served as a marketing intern with the University of Missouri’s Athletic Department.
Colleen graduated summa cum laude, earning a Bachelor of Journalism with an emphasis in strategic communication, along with minors in business and English from the University of Missouri.
Q: If you could have any one superpower, which would you choose?
A: I would definitely choose to fly because I hate wasting time sitting in traffic, and would love to be able to see the world without the cost of a plane ticket!
Q: What is the nerdiest thing you do in your spare time?
A: A few times a week, my mom and I record Jeopardy. We watch it together later that night and see who gets the most correct answers.
One more thing: We’re up for “Best PR Firm” in St. Louis Small Business Monthly‘s annual list of the best St. Louis companies, and we’d love your support! Voting ends July 5. Click here to vote.
