Riley’s background shares a well-rounded balance of communications talent, including copywriting, graphic design, media relations, social media management, event planning, and content development. Her experience ranges from shepherding the voice of the Gateway Arch on social media (earning accolades from industry peers in the process) to coordinating media interviews with NASCAR drivers for the Enjoy Illinois 300 to creating social media and blog content for higher education clients.
Riley joined CGPR after an internship with Nashville-based The Andrews Agency, where she managed media lists, designed social media posts and developed plans for multiple events, including the 2021 Iroquois Steeplechase.
Riley has earned Hootsuite Academy’s Social Media Marketing certification and regularly monitors the ever-changing analytic features of social media platforms to curate the most accurate data possible for clients. She excels at translating social media analytics into a digestible format to help clients discover trends and adapt their social media content strategy accordingly.
Riley graduated from The University of Alabama with a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations with minors in psychology and leadership communication. She was a member of the Public Relations Student Society of America, Her Campus at Alabama and Pi Beta Phi Fraternity for Women. Her senior year she served as the Director of Public Relations and Marketing for Her Campus at Alabama.
