Katy Jamboretz is an Emmy-winning communications leader, skilled in all aspects of public relations and executive media and presentation training.
Her career has taken her from reporting in the neighborhoods of St. Louis for KMOV-TV, to making history as part of the first all-female anchor team in St. Louis at KPLR-TV. She founded her own strategic communications firm in 2008 before joining the St. Louis Economic Development Partnership in February 2011 where she led economic development communications for 8 years.
She was instrumental in the naming and launch of 39 North, the AgTech District centered around the Danforth Plant Science Center. During the launch of 39 North she coordinated highly orchestrated outreach efforts to the business community, property owners and residents.
In addition to serving on the board of the Insight Theater Company, she is the past president of Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital Impact Board. She has been named one of the St. Louis Business Journal’s 40 People Under 40 to watch and a Woman of Achievement by her Alma Mater, Nerinx Hall High School.
She is a graduate of the University of Colorado.
