Assistant Account Executive
With a background in journalism and public relations, Camryn uses her unique blend of skills to support Common Ground PR clients.
During her time at the award-winning student newspaper, The Daily Gamecock, Camryn excelled as a Sportswriter, producing many published articles, ultimately earning the “Best New Writer” award and a promotion to Assistant Sports Editor. As Assistant Editor, she managed a team of sportswriters and appeared as a guest speaker on the Paul Finebaum Show in August 2022, showcasing her work in sports journalism.
Camryn also worked as a Junior Client Success Manager at Rhodes Branding, a K-12 marketing agency in Columbia, South Carolina. There, she collaborated on innovative marketing initiatives to improve school districts in the region, creating competitive audits, social media content, and participating in brand workshops.
She graduated magna cum laude from the University of South Carolina with a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations and is pursuing a master’s degree in strategic communication. During her time at South Carolina, she played for the women’s soccer team and served as team captain for two consecutive years. Originally from North Carolina, Camryn now calls St. Louis home and enjoys exploring the city in her free time.
